Over the last several years, SnowCloud Services created a wireless backbone in Juneau that stretched from the Valley to Downtown with a mission to provide back-up and off-site storage services to our clients. After creating our infrastructure, we noticed something crucial missing from Juneau’s harbors and remote areas: fast and reliable internet access. At the time, current internet service providers in town were either not providing service or didn\u2019t have the capability. We realized we could use our existing infrastructure to provide boats and harbors with quality internet access. Just like that, the SnowCloud was born. As we brought more great customers into our services, we understood we didn\u2019t have to stop with just the harbors, we could reach businesses and residences in the Downtown and Douglas areas.
